Our National Bank Heist blends the emotional depth of John Q, the social layers of The Breakfast Club, and the clever twists of Ocean’s Eleven.

Set in a local bank during the height of the COVID-19 lockdown, the play follows a desperate man who storms the bank in an attempt to rob it to save his child’s life. As the tense robbery unfolds, the gaggle of trapped customers and staff—strangers from very different walks of life—are drawn into intriguing conversations forcing them to confront their own biases and beliefs, and when a shocking secret is revealed, an unexpected alliance forms which hatches a daring heist plan that challenges the boundaries between right and wrong, survival and justice. It is a story about humanity in crisis, connection in isolation, and the choices we make when we’re pushed to our limit.
